I have been training with Gee for over 6 months now and every session is filled with hard work and a lot of laughs. I originally contacted Gee to learn more about Animal Flow, and now we have progressed onto hand balancing and body weight training. Gee is very generous with his time and knowledge, and has a way of making every session better than the last. It’s a great feeling for me to be 40 years old and feel so much stronger, flexible and mobile than I was in my 30’s and probably in my 20's! Gee is a very well rounded and caring personal trainer, qualified in many areas of fitness, which means that our sessions are varied, interesting and a lot of fun. Gee's training made my return to sking after rupturing my ACL skiing a triumphant one! The ski and knee specific training we did meant that from the moment I hit the slopes I was confident as if the accident had never happened. In fact my skiing had improved. I have continued my training with Gee as they are fun and never the same. I train to do triathlons and Gee developed a program that helped me develop strength and flexibility across the three disciplines. Following this Gee has introduced me to an exercise and movement technique called 'animal flow'. This training has enabled me to improve in triathlons but has helped me in surfing and day to day fitness. This is a full body weight and exercise training that gets the brain, breathing and movement linked together. The increased flexibility I have as a result is amazing. I’ve been training with Gee for over 2 years with a specific focus on my ski fitness, whilst also developing my overall fitness and core strength. Gee’s style of training is based on using your own bodyweight and the variety of exercises make each session enjoyable and highly motivating. I’ve seen improvement in my overall fitness on the ski slopes in core strength, endurance and stability on varying ski terrain.
